And even if you eat for instance a vegetable salad late at night it won’t really have a negative effect at your health and feeling (please just not abuse).

Actually it’s important not only what you eat, but when exactly you eat as well. Vegetables, for example, are better absorbed after 1 p.m. Sweets in their turn (including chocolate, raisins, cakes, honey, etc.) are better to eat in the morning and during the first half of the day.

In case you eat sweets before 2 p.m. you get maximum use out of it. Because at this time they are better and in a proper way absorbed by our body, and what’s more important it make you feel no wish for eating something sweet after lunch and eat less sweets in general. It really works.

Of course a light dessert for dinner will not hurt you if you don’t have digestion problems.

They add, change, and give taste to what we eat and the way we percept it. Thanks to them our food can be salty, sweet, sour, or bitter. Especially the matter of seasonongs and spices is actual in Indian cookery. Indian vegetarian meals are famous all around the world thanks mainly to their incredible spices. They can be actually used anywhere (in case you can find all the ingredients).

For example, vindaloo – it’s complex fried mix widespread in central and South-West districts of India. Commonly it contains mustard seeds, cumin, ginger, black pepper, shambala seeds, cloves, coriander seeds, red pepper, and tamarind. Vindaloo is mainly used for cooking sauces and served with rice.

Garam masala (meaning literally ‘warm spices’) is a mix of fried and mashed spices widespread in Nothern districs of India. It may contain almost all possible Indian spices, but commonly there are following main ingredients: cumin, coriander seeds, black pepper, bay leaf (these are the basic of the taste), and in smaller amount there are cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and cardamon.

Sometimes they even take a form of a conflict when people who live together have different opinions of what to eat and what should be completely excluded from the daily foods. It happens when for example one or several members of small community become vegetarians.

At the meantime it could be a matter of religious and ethic contradictions. Imagine the situation when a person who has strong vegetarian beliefs based on his/her religion (such as Hinduism or Buddhism) is for some reason lives in the surrounding of meat-lovers. Not everyone is able to take it easy. And there is commonly a tendency among people to speak in support their opinion. Here comes a sort of a conflict: defend what you think is right or show tolerance in attitude to other person opinion. If one person likes strawberry and the other one hates it – it’s not a problem because none them will argue much that it’s worth or not worth eating. But then eating (or mostly not eating) something is based on religion discussions of this matter could be offencive for one of the parties.

My new friends have opened a cafe where they cook only Indian vegetarian meals. All staff there are Krishnaists (they used to be Christians). They made this choice absolutely consciously. But they don’t treat people who eat meat as evil people. And it’s great when we are able to be tolerant in attitude to other people.

You can’t even imagine how many ways there are to make home-made pasta look and taste different! For instance, if you add some colouring agent to it… natural agent of course, like chocolate… Let’s think about colors.

Green color
You can made pasta look green with the help of spinach or broccoli. Just chop it properly and add to the dough. How much? – It’s up to you. The more you add the deeper color and taste you get.

Red color
For this you will need beet roots. You can use both boiled and smashed beet roots as well as juice of fresh beet roots.

Orange color
This color you can get by adding carrot, curry, red pepper or tomato. Each of these products has its own tint of orange color, and of course has great influence on the taste of pasta in general. Choose the one you like most.

Yellow color
If you add some saffron or lemon juice you will get yellow pasta: golden-yellow in the first case and light-yellow in the second.

And finally chocolate…
Yes, chocolate pasta is a special vegetarian meal. It’s mostly used in cooking desserts. When making it we add cocoa powder and sugar, and get brown pasta with gentle chocolate taste.

What else color could you made your pasta? Please share.

When you start cooking what do you mainly concentrate your attention at? That’s right – at ingredients. Well, what and how much are really important for all vegetarian meals. We think about vitamins, minerals, and number of calories (if necessary for a weight loss diet or just out of curiosity).

There is one more important ingredient for absolutely all meals no matter what exactly you cook. We talk about your thoughts during the process of cooking. Someone may think that it’s ridiculous, but it really makes sense. Our food is not only a combination of ingredients that go through a certain processing. It’s also a very strong energy that could be both positive (if you cook with love and there are only positive thoughts in your head and in your heart) and negative (if you argue or think over and over some troubles and/or offences).

As I said energy of a person who cooks is strong enough to be passed on to the food. So, if something goes wrong don’t let your negative words and emotions go out. Smile and you will find a way to save your healthy vegetarian meal and its healthy energy.

Truly vegetarians who have already found their Valentines should prepare for this day in advance. We all expect something romantic and usual for this day. Romantic dinner and small but nice presents are its integral parts.

You know that if you just turn on your imagination you can make even very simple vegetarian meals look romantic and show your feelings in such way. By the way cooking is a way to express tender feeling not only for women but fir men as well. I would say especially for men who didn’t use to cook in general but who really want to make this evening special and surprise their girls.

By the way this holiday is a great chance to join vegetarianism (if you still haven’t) just to show how much you love someone.

It grows in almost all countries around the world.

There are so many types of grapes that you can hardly believe it (most of us can only distinguish red grapes from white ones), but not all of them are good and tasty for eating. Some are grown specially for making wine. For some countries this fruit is the main source of making money. People there grow grapes, make wine, and sell it out.

Grapes can be eaten raw or used for making jam, juice, jelly, vinegar, drugs, wine, grape seed extracts, raisins, and grape seed oil. The last two ‘products’ are often used in vegetarian meals mostly in bakery and desserts.

It’s really true.

Of course one of these foods is chocolate. It contains ‘hormones of happiness’ and indeed helps people feel emotionally and physically better.

This effect of food is one of the basic reasons why business people have their important meetings, negotiations, and contracts signing at restaurants. It’s a fact that full business partners are more likely to agree with you unlike in case when they are hungry. Full person is a happy person who is calm and open for your offers.

If your business partners are vegetarian then why don’t you arrange a meeting at a vegetarian restaurant where they can enjoy their favourite vegetarian meals and feel comfortable. In case you have friendly and close relations with your business partners you can also order a dinner from a vegetarian food delivery service which you have already tried out by yourself. It would be also nice.

Of course every vegetarian has his/her own ones. Believe it or not but very often love to animals has nothing to do with this. What has? – The answer is overweight. It’s well known that vegetarian meals help in weight loss in general have less troubles with overweight. Thus people who suffer from overweight and obesity start following a vegetarian diet in terms of their weight loss and fitness programs. Some of them get so incredible results that under effect of them can’t give up and become vegetarians. Nevertheless it’s still a good reason to join vegetarianism or veganism.

So, how do vegetarian meals help in weight loss? The most important point is the absence of animal fat (it’s not only about refusing from meat). In general when a person stops eating animal products metabolism changes, and these changes are always for good.
