Ingredients:
- 1 litre milk (soy milk)
- 1 big carrot
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 6-8 dates
- 2 tbsp sugar
- some salt
- 20 g butter (optional)
- 1 vanilla package
- 1 cup vermicelli
Grate the carrot, place it in a pan, add 1.5 cup hot water and boil till it’s half ready. Then add milk, sugar, and some salt, and male it boil. When it starts boiling add vermicelli and stir well. After that add raisins, dates, and vanilla. Boil for three minutes. Serve when it’s already not so hot (add some butter if you like).
Options: you can do the same using rice instead of vermicelli – just boil it in advance to warm up in milk later.
