You can hardly name a person who doesn’t like strawberries. There are of course some people that are allergic to it, but anyway it doesn’t mean that they don’t like it.
Strawberries are very popular for using in salads, desserts, milk shakes, and smoothie drinks because they are full of Vitamin C and very tasty.
To make this simple and at the same time incredible strawberry smoothie drink please take the following:
- 450g/1lb ripe strawberries, washed
- 1 banana
- 450ml/15floz low fat natural yoghurt
- 150ml/1/4oz skimmed (or soy) milk
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 6-8 ice cubes, crushed
This time we offer you sugar-free variant of this drink. But if you think you would enjoy it more with a little icing sugar then go ahead.
Place the strawberries, banana, yoghurt, milk and vanilla extract in a blender and blend until smooth. Put the crushed ice into 4 tall glasses, pour the smoothie over the ice and serve immediately.
