Rice is one of the most popular oriental meals. It is one of those meals that people know and love, and of course it belongs to the most favorite meals of vegetarians from all over the world. To cook oriental rice you need to take:
- 6 cups water
- 4 cups brown rice
- 4 cups frozen peas, rinsed
- 1 bundle green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup silvered almonds
- sea salt to taste
Procedure is the following. You boil rice in a low heat for about 40-45 minutes. Then take it out of water and properly mix with peas, onions, and almonds in a bowl of appropriate size. After that add the sauce, and bake it in oven at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
To make your Asian style dinner complete and special you can take chopsticks and/or turn on Chinese folk music.
