Hindu people are famous for their unusual cookery style. Their traditions in food are based on historical and territorial background. In particular they have a number of foods that contain vegetables only, just like this tomato soup that we would like to offer you today.
This is one of those meals that will take you only 7-10 minutes to cook. Make sure you have the following at hand:
- 4 cups tomato juice
- 2 teaspoons corn flour
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin seed powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy milk
- croutons
- salt and pepper to taste
Ginger has to be of garlic paste, and corn flour dissolved in a little cold water.
Take a pan of appropriate size, and combine tomato juice, corn flour, cumin, and ginger in it. Mix it all well, and add salt and pepper. Make it boil on medium flame and simmer for 4 minutes. After that add milk and keep it simmer for 3 minutes more.
Better to serve hot with croutons if you like them.
