Green Beans with Hazelnuts


  • 750 g green beans
  • 30 g vegetable oil
  • 75 – 100 g fried hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste

Take a big frying pan. Pour it with water (till about 1 inch level), and make it boil. Add beans, and make it boil again. Then let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes till the beans are soft crunchy. Take it out from the water.

Then fry hazelnuts on vegetable oil for about 3 minutes, till the oil is brown. Add lemon rind, beans, pepper, and salt. Fry stirring for 5 minutes more.

Serve hot or cold.
