This simple, but tasty chocolate sauce can stand you a good stead when you want to surprise your guests and make the taste of cake, coffee, fruit, or nondairy ice-cream a bit more ‘elegant’.
To make this sauce it’ll take you a little time and several ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Dutch cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (light or dark)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp. soy milk
Mix together the first three ingredients. Make sure you get indiscrete mass as a result. Then put it all in a small saucepan, and watch it simmer for about 2 minutes. Don’t forget to stir the mass in order not to burn the chocolate. In 2 minutes put the saucepan aside, and stir in the soy milk. When it’s done pour the chocolate into squeeze bottles for later use.
Hey, great post, really well written. You should blog more about this.
