Best Five Refreshing And Healthy Smoothies


The combination of these healthy fruits is bursting with essential vitamins and minerals that a person needs.

Banana and Apple Smoothie



  • Two large bananas, sliced in one and a half thickness
  • One apple, cut into cubes
  • One cup of apple juice
  • Two cups of yogurt
  • One third cup of fresh mint
  • One tablespoon of honey
  • One half cup of orange juice
  • Mint sprigs

What you need to do:

In a food processor or blender, put the banana, apple, apple juice, yogurt, mint and honey. Puree well and make sure that all the ingredients are blended well together. Add the orange juice and blend well. Transfer the smoothie into a glass and serve.

Mango, Avocado, And Peach Smoothie



  • One ripe mango, chopped and peeled
  • One ripe peach, chopped and peeled
  • One half of an avocado, chopped and peeled
  • Two cups of ginger ale
  • Fresh mint leaves

What you need to do:

Remove the skin of the mango and roughly chop the mango flesh except the stone in the middle. Put the peach and avocado inside a large bowl covered with boiling water. Leave it for a minute. Remove the skin and chop the flesh and discard the seeds.

Place the chopped fruits in a blender, add the ginger ale. Make sure that the fruits are covered entirely. Process again. Make sure that there are no lumps. Transfer into a glass and add some ice. Garnish with some mints.

Carrot And Spice Smoothie

Jamba Juice Orange Carrot Karma


  • One cup of ice
  • Two carrots, peeled and chopped
  • An apple, cored and chopped
  • One ginger, peeled and chopped
  • One tablespoon of butter
  • One fourth cup of yogurt
  • One fourth teaspoon of cinnamon

What you need to do:

Chop the carrots and apple. Place it into a blender and add the freshly chopped ginger. Pour in some butter and yogurt. Stir well until blended together.  Add the cinnamon and pulse in a bit more.

Transfer in a glass. Serve and enjoy!

Berries And Beets Smoothie



  • One cup of cooked Beetroots
  • One cup of frozen blueberries
  • One and a half cup of prune juice
  • One and a half cup of yogurt
  • Two or three sliced strawberries

What you need to do:

Chop the blueberries and place them in the freezer. After a few hours, place the berries and chopped Beetroots along with the prune juice in a blender. Keep on blending for thirty seconds. Whisk in the yogurt. Transfer into glasses, pour in the remaining yogurt. Place some crushed strawberries on top. Serve and enjoy!

Strawberry and Pineapple Smoothie



  • One half cup of strawberries, sliced
  • One cup of pineapple, diced
  • One half cup of strawberry juice
  • One cup of skimmed milk
  • One cup of ice

What you need to do:

After slicing the strawberries and dicing the pineapple, place them in the freezer for not less than three hours. This will result into a thicker smoothie. Place the milk and ice cubes with the fruits in a blender. Puree until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
