This dish is fast and easy to cook and it requires 2 hours for preparation time and minimum ingredients:
- 1 pound (tub) firm or extra firm tofu
- 1 jar of vegan barbeque sauce
- That’s all you need to start.
The oven has to be preheated to 300. While you are waiting slice the tofu in such a way to make long slabs. When it’s done cover the bottom of a pan with 1/4 inch of vegan barbeque sauce. Put the tofu on top. And then cover it with sauce. Don’t put too much sauce on top, just cover the tofu and that’s enough.
That is almost all. Put a pan into already preheated oven, and wait for about two hours (don’t forget to check it from time to time). You’ll get 4 servings in result. The dish is good sliced and is good to put on vegan bread.
