If you/your family/friends are not alergic to bananas and peanutsthen all of you will cetainly enjoy this salad. Ingredients for it are the following:
- 16 ripe medium-sized bananas
- 16 tbsps chopped peanuts
- Mayonnaise
- Lettuce
This salad is not only tasty. It has a number of great health benefits. By a high potassium to sodium content, bananas may prevent high blood pressure and its complications. High potassium may also prevent renal calcium loss, in effect preventing bone breakdown. New research shows peanuts rival the antioxidant content of many fruits. That is why the combination of peanuts and bananas is very useful.
Preparation is extremely simple. Slice crosswise and thin 2 bananas for each individual serving and mix with two tablespoons chopped peanuts. Add mayonnaise, mix lightly with a fork and arrange on lettuce leaves before serving.
